While not exclusively designed for ice castles—temporary structures often built for winter festivals—these advanced benches incorporate sensors that monitor environmental conditions. Using temperature and humidity sensors coupled with AI algorithms, they can identify potential ice accumulation risks on nearby surfaces, including decorative ice installations. This technology alerts maintenance teams to hazardous conditions before they become dangerous, preventing structural weaknesses or collapses. Although primarily deployed for general pathway safety, their application in monitoring ice-based attractions represents a cutting-edge fusion of IoT and public space management. Current implementations focus on slip prevention, but adaptation for specialized structures like ice castles is technologically feasible with customized sensor calibration.
