At our manufacturing facility, we implement a comprehensive, multi-stage packaging protocol specifically designed to safeguard outdoor furniture throughout the global shipping process. We begin by individually wrapping each furniture component—from chair frames to table tops—in a soft, non-abrasive felt cloth. This initial layer prevents surface scratches and abrasions during handling and transit.
Following this, we apply a robust, weather-resistant shrink wrap. This plastic layer forms a tight seal, creating a critical barrier against moisture, dust, and humidity, which is essential for long sea voyages or varied climate conditions during transport. For added structural integrity, high-density foam corner protectors and edge guards are secured to all vulnerable points. These guards absorb impacts and prevent dents or bends to metal, wood, or wicker components.
The wrapped and protected items are then placed into custom-fitted, heavy-duty corrugated cardboard boxes. These boxes are manufactured with double-walled construction for superior crush resistance. We use reinforced packing tape for sealing, and each box is clearly marked with "Fragile," "This Side Up," and "Keep Dry" icons to guide logistics handlers. For larger furniture sets, we utilize palletization—securing multiple boxes onto a single wooden pallet, which is then stabilized with stretch wrap and steel straps. This method prevents load shifting and allows for safe mechanical handling with forklifts.
Our packaging materials are selected not only for protection but also for sustainability, using recyclable components where possible without compromising security. This systematic approach, developed through years of shipping experience, ensures that our outdoor furniture arrives at your destination in the same pristine condition it left our factory floor, ready for immediate assembly and use in your garden, patio, or commercial space.
