Effective communication of design files is a critical step in launching a successful OEM outdoor furniture project. The process typically begins with the submission of your technical package. We require comprehensive and finalized CAD files, preferably in a universal format like .STEP or .IGES for 3D models, along with detailed 2D drawings in .PDF or .DWG format. These drawings must include all essential specifications: precise dimensions, material grades, finish types, tolerances, and assembly instructions.
For optimal efficiency, we recommend using secure cloud storage platforms such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer for sending large files. Our engineering team will then conduct a thorough Design for Manufacturability (DFM) review. During this phase, we may provide feedback or suggest minor adjustments to optimize the design for production, ensuring structural integrity and cost-effectiveness without compromising your vision. Following your approval of any revisions, the finalized files are directly released to our production floor, marking the official start of the manufacturing process. Clear, complete, and correctly formatted files from the outset are the key to a smooth and timely production journey for your custom outdoor furniture collection.
