Our process begins in the laboratory with accelerated weathering chambers. Here, materials are subjected to intense cycles of UV light, simulating prolonged sun exposure, coupled with periods of moisture spray to replicate rain and dew. This controlled environment allows us to compress years of potential weather damage into weeks or months, closely monitoring for color fading, surface cracking, loss of tensile strength, or corrosion.

However, lab tests alone are not enough. We complement this with real-world exposure testing at several certified outdoor testing sites. These locations are chosen for their harsh, specific climates—from coastal areas with salty, humid air to arid deserts with intense solar radiation and freeze-thaw cycle regions. Samples are placed at a 45-degree angle to maximize sun and rain exposure and are inspected at regular intervals for any signs of failure.

We also perform targeted mechanical tests after weather exposure, such as checking the stability of joints, the functionality of moving parts, and the integrity of fabrics. This ensures that weathering does not compromise structural safety or comfort. Every material component, from powder-coated aluminum frames and stainless-steel fasteners to UV-stabilized polymers and solution-dyed acrylic fabrics, has its own set of pass/fail criteria based on international durability standards. This multi-phase approach—combining accelerated lab data with real-world validation—guarantees that our furniture is not only aesthetically pleasing but built to endure and perform season after season.
