In our factory, achieving perfect color harmony between paints and fabrics is a meticulous, technology-driven process. It begins with the establishment of a standardized digital color library. Each target color is defined using precise international standards like Pantone or RAL, and its spectral data is captured and stored using high-precision spectrophotometers. This instrument measures color objectively, eliminating the subjectivity of the human eye under different lighting conditions.
For paints, technicians use this digital standard to formulate batches. Base pigments are mixed using computerized dispensing systems that ensure accurate proportions every time. A sample is then applied, dried, and measured with the spectrophotometer. The software compares the sample's reading to the standard and provides a corrective formula if any deviation exists. This cycle repeats until a perfect match is confirmed.
Fabric color matching follows a parallel but distinct path. Dye recipes are developed based on the fiber type—cotton, polyester, etc. Lab-dip samples are produced, where small fabric swatches are dyed with the proposed formula. After conditioning, these swatches undergo rigorous assessment. They are measured under multiple light sources (D65 daylight, incandescent, fluorescent) to check for metamerism—where colors shift under different lights. The fabric must match the standard physically and spectrally alongside the paint sample.
The final and most critical step is cross-material approval. Approved paint draw-down panels and fabric lab-dips are placed side-by-side under controlled lighting booths. Quality control teams visually inspect them for consistency in hue, value, and chroma. Only when both materials align perfectly with each other and the digital standard is the batch approved for full-scale production. This systematic approach, blending advanced instrumentation with expert human validation, guarantees that the color you specify is the color we deliver, ensuring consistency across every product batch and material type.
