We add a continuous weather-stripping gasket around the lid’s edge, so rain, dust, and insects stay out. The hinge mechanism is constructed from stainless steel, rated for hundreds of daily openings without sagging or rusting.
Our factory produces these benches from three main materials: 1) Naturally rot-resistant cedar or teak, 2) Powder-coated aluminum (lightweight, never rusts), and 3) HDPE (high-density polyethylene) construction with a 50-year fade warranty. All finishes include UV inhibitors to prevent cracking, fading, or splintering under direct sun. We also offer an optional snap-on cushion topper if you want to store the cushions inside and still have a softer seat while sitting.
