When you place a large order from our planter box factory, you are not just buying products—you are engaging a well-oiled logistics system designed for scale, safety, and speed. Here is exactly how we handle the delivery process for bulk shipments, step by step.
1. Order Verification & Production Scheduling
Once your order is confirmed, our production team reviews the specifications—materials, dimensions, colors, and quantity—and schedules a dedicated production slot. For large orders (typically 500+ units), we assign a project manager to oversee every stage.
2. Quality Control at Every Stage
Unlike small retail orders, large orders require systematic QC. We conduct in-line inspections during molding, assembly, and sanding, followed by a final batch inspection. A random 10% of the units are stress-tested for load capacity and UV resistance. Only after passing do they move to packaging.
3. Industrial-Grade Packaging
Bulk planter boxes face rough handling during transit. We use:
- Corner protectors for stacked boxes
- Heavy-duty shrink wrap to prevent moisture and scratches
- Custom wooden crates for oversized or fragile designs (e.g., long rectangular planters)
Each pallet is labeled with the order number, box count, and handling instructions.
4. Container Loading & Shipping Coordination
Depending on your destination, we load the packed pallets into either a standard 20ft or 40ft container. Our loading team ensures balanced weight distribution to avoid shifting during sea or road transport. For very large orders (1000+ units), we may use multiple containers with separate bill of lading.
5. Real-Time Tracking & Documentation
Once shipped, you receive:
- Container number and vessel name
- Estimated arrival date based on your port
- All customs documents (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin)
We also offer optional cargo insurance for high-value orders.
6. Last-Mile Delivery & Unloading Support
If your order includes white-glove service, we coordinate with local freight partners for direct delivery to your warehouse or job site. Our team provides unloading guidelines and can send a remote supervisor to ensure proper handling.
7. Post-Delivery Verification
After you receive the shipment, we request a signed delivery confirmation and photo evidence. If any damage occurs (rare, but possible), our claims team initiates replacement within 48 hours.
From initial production to final delivery, a typical large order takes 4–6 weeks, depending on customization and destination. Contact our logistics team for a timeline specific to your project.
