Unlike stock items that ship immediately, your order enters a dedicated production queue. Typically, the delivery window for a factory-built custom order ranges from 4 to 8 weeks.

Here is why that window exists: The first week is for design proofing and material procurement. We must confirm your chosen lumber or steel availability, and sometimes rare materials require sourcing. The next 2 to 4 weeks are the core production phase. Skilled welders or carpenters craft your bench by hand, applying weather-resistant stains or powder coatings. After fabrication, we allow one week for quality inspection and final assembly. Finally, shipping takes the remaining 1 to 2 weeks, depending on your location.

Two critical factors can shift this window: seasonal demand and finish complexity. During spring and summer, our factory runs at high capacity, so you should expect the longer end of the window (6-8 weeks). Complex finishes like multi-step powder coating or hand-brushed teak oil also add a few extra days. Conversely, during fall and winter, we often have faster turnaround, sometimes as quick as 3 weeks.

We always provide a confirmed "ready to ship" date before production starts. For urgent projects, we do offer a “fast-track” custom option with a reduced window of 3-4 weeks, but this is subject to material availability.
