At our planter box factory, we understand that durability and beauty must survive the journey from our facility to your doorstep. To prevent breakage during transit, we have developed a multi-layered packaging system that prioritizes shock absorption, structural integrity, and environmental protection.
First, each planter is wrapped individually in a layer of air-bubble film, which cushions against minor impacts and scratches. The planter is then placed into a custom-fit mold of high-density polyethylene foam. This foam insert holds the planter securely in place and distributes pressure evenly, minimizing the risk of cracks or chips during handling.
Next, the foam-wrapped planter is inserted into a double-walled corrugated cardboard box. The box’s extra thickness provides essential rigidity, while the internal corners are reinforced with cardboard angles to resist crushing. We also add a layer of honeycomb paper padding on the top and bottom of the box to absorb vertical shocks.
For multiple planters shipped together on a pallet, we use vertical dividers made of solid fiberboard to separate each box. The entire pallet is then tightly wrapped in industrial-grade stretch film, which stabilizes the load and prevents boxes from shifting. Finally, we apply edge protectors and plastic strapping to secure the pallet to its base, ensuring that even rough handling by carriers will not compromise the products inside.
Our factory also includes a transparent silicone desiccant packet inside each sealed box to protect against moisture fluctuations, which can weaken cardboard or affect wooden planter finishes. Every shipment undergoes a drop test and compression test before leaving the facility, ensuring that our packaging meets international shipping standards.
