At our trash can factory, we take environmental responsibility seriously—not just in the products we make, but also in how we deliver them. When you receive a trash can from us, you can expect packaging that is designed with sustainability at its core.
First, we use 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard for our outer boxes. These corrugated sheets are sourced from post-consumer waste and are fully compostable after use. To secure the trash can inside, we avoid conventional plastic bubble wrap; instead, we employ biodegradable paper-based cushioning made from recycled pulp. This material offers excellent shock absorption while breaking down naturally within weeks.
For smaller components like handles or lids, we utilize plant-based starch foam peanuts that dissolve in water, leaving no toxic residue. All adhesive tapes are water-activated paper tape, eliminating plastic-based adhesives. Additionally, we minimize packaging volume by designing custom-fit boxes tailored to each model, reducing dead space and lowering shipping weight—which cuts fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
Our commitment extends to the supply chain: we partner with local distributors to shorten transportation distances, and we encourage customers to reuse or compost all packaging materials. In fact, over 95% of our packaging by weight is either biodegradable or infinitely recyclable.
While no packaging is perfectly zero-impact, we continuously innovate to close the loop. For every shipment, we calculate the carbon footprint and offset it through certified reforestation projects. So, when you unbox your trash can, you can be confident that the packaging is as green as the container itself.
