At our outdoor bench factory, ensuring the metal legs remain rust-free over time is a top priority. We employ a multi-step anti-corrosion process that begins with the selection of high-grade steel. All metal legs are constructed from either hot-dip galvanized steel or heavy-duty stainless steel, which inherently resist oxidation. The first step involves abrasive blasting to remove any mill scale and impurities, creating a clean surface for coating. Next, we apply a zinc-rich primer through electrostatic spray, followed by a premium weather-resistant powder coating. This layer is baked at 200°C (392°F) to form a durable, seamless barrier against moisture and UV exposure. For extreme environments, we add a marine-grade clear topcoat infused with corrosion inhibitors. Each batch undergoes a salt spray test for over 1,000 hours to certify rust resistance. Additionally, all bolts and welding points are sealed with silicone-based sealants to prevent crevice corrosion. By combining galvanization, multi-layer coating, and rigorous quality checks, our benches withstand rain, snow, and humidity for decades without rust.
