For food court bins that are changed less frequently, we offer an optional active odor-neutralization module. This module contains a replaceable activated carbon filter that traps volatile organic compounds (VOCs) before they escape. In our premium outdoor models, we also embed a small, solar-powered fan that continuously circulates air through the carbon filter, ensuring odor control even during peak summer heat.
Third, we pretreat all bin interiors with a factory-applied, food-safe enzymatic coating. This coating breaks down organic residues on contact, transforming fats and proteins into odorless, water-soluble byproducts. Laboratory tests show that this coating reduces initial odor intensity by up to 85% during the first 48 hours of use, which is critical for open-air dining environments.
Finally, we collaborate with our logistics partners to recommend a bin-emptying schedule tailored to each client's waste volume and temperature conditions. We also provide proprietary, UV-C sterilization inserts that can be placed inside the bin lid. These inserts emit germicidal light for 15 minutes after the bin is closed, killing odor-causing bacteria and mold spores without chemicals.
