Thank you for reaching out to our outdoor bench factory. The short answer is: it depends on the model, but the vast majority of our benches are designed for minimal, tool-friendly assembly. We prioritize both convenience and structural integrity.
For our most popular lines—such as the "Garden Classic" and "Patio Pro"—the benches arrive with the seat, backrest, and armrests already pre-assembled as one solid unit. You only need to attach the legs using the included stainless steel bolts and a single Allen wrench (provided). This step takes most customers under 15 minutes, and we include a printed diagram alongside a QR code linking to a video tutorial.
We also offer a "Fully Assembled" option for select premium models (e.g., our Teak Heritage series). These benches are shipped on a custom wooden pallet and require zero assembly—just unwrap and place. Because of shipping dimensions and freight costs, fully assembled benches are only available for curbside delivery and may incur an additional fee.
For customers who prefer complete DIY control, we have a "Flat-Pack" collection (like the Steel Mesh Bench) where every component is separate. The packaging is vacuum-sealed to protect the powder-coated steel, and assembly takes about 30 minutes with a Phillips screwdriver.
Our factory tests every bench for stability before packaging. No matter which assembly level you choose, all fasteners are labeled in individually sealed bags, and we provide a two-year warranty on hardware. If you ever lose a screw, we’ll ship replacements free of charge.
Ultimately, the assembly requirement ranges from “zero” to “light work.” We recommend checking the product page for the specific model’s assembly tag: “Fully Assembled,” “Partial Assembly (Legs Only),” or “Flat-Pack.” Our customer service team is always available to walk you through the process.
