Absolutely, we provide stain samples to all customers before they place an order. Our planter box factory uses a curated selection of high-quality, weather-resistant wood stains that enhance the natural grain while protecting against moisture and UV damage.

Currently, we offer 12 standard stain colors — from classic cedar, dark walnut, and mahogany to modern charcoal, driftwood gray, and teak. For each color, we have physical 4”x6” wood swatches that show the actual finish on the same pine or cedar wood we use for our planter boxes. These swatches are pre-treated with a sealant so you can see exactly how the stain will look after curing.

To request samples, simply email us your preferred color names or let us know if you need a custom color match. We’ll mail the swatches to you within 2 business days at no charge for up to five colors. For international customers, we can also provide a high-resolution digital sample book with macro photography that captures the grain and sheen.

Please note that because stains interact differently with wood’s natural variations, we recommend requesting at least two to three close shades to compare. Our production team also keeps a “stain archive” of past custom blends — if you have a specific Pantone or RAL reference, we can create a match and send a custom sample before you commit to a full order.
