These planters offer a more classic, sculptural look and are often preferred for ornamental gardens, patios, and commercial spaces.

The key to tapered production lies in our adjustable mold system and precision cutting machinery. For wooden planters, we can angle the side panels by any degree you specify, typically between 2 and 15 degrees, depending on the species of wood and the overall height. For fiberglass or concrete planters, we use custom molds that allow us to control the draft angle exactly, ensuring clean release and consistent wall thickness. We can also produce hybrid designs where the taper starts partway down, creating an elegant curved profile rather than a simple straight slant.

One thing to keep in mind is that tapered planters require slightly more material than straight-sided ones at the base for structural stability, especially when the taper is pronounced.
