Thank you for reaching out with this practical concern. Yes, our trash can factory does include anchoring hardware as part of our standard and optional configurations. We understand that strong gusts can turn an ordinary trash can into a projectile, creating safety hazards and mess. That is why we engineer our bins with wind resilience in mind.
For most of our outdoor models, we offer pre-drilled holes at the base, along with corrosion-resistant anchor bolts and brackets designed to secure the can to concrete, pavement, or wooden platforms. This anchoring kit is included in the packaging for select heavy-duty lines, so you do not need to purchase anything extra. For our lighter residential models, we provide a retrofit anchoring kit that can be easily installed with basic tools. The kit includes two sturdy ground stakes and a locking clip that attaches to the can’s bottom lip, keeping it firmly in place even during severe weather.
In addition to physical anchors, our design team incorporates wind-reducing features such as lower center of gravity, aerodynamic side channels, and tight-fitting lids with rubber seals. These elements work together with the anchoring hardware to minimize lift and wobble. If you already own one of our bins but did not receive the anchor kit, please contact our customer service with your model number. We will ship the appropriate anchoring hardware to you free of charge, because your safety and peace of mind are part of our product promise.
