When you place a custom order with our outdoor bench factory, the lead time generally depends on three main factors: the complexity of your design, the material you choose, and the current production queue. For most standard custom benches — whether it’s a teak park bench, a powder-coated steel bench, or a recycled plastic model — our typical production lead time is 15 to 20 working days from the moment we approve your final drawings and receive the deposit. This includes material preparation, cutting, welding or joinery, finishing, and quality inspection.
If you need a completely bespoke design with intricate carvings, special dimensions, or unusual hardware, please add 5 to 10 extra days for prototyping and tooling adjustments. For large wholesale orders, such as 50 or more units, we can sometimes compress the schedule by running parallel production lines, but we never sacrifice quality for speed.
After production, shipping time is not included in the factory lead time. Depending on your destination, sea freight typically takes 25 to 40 days, while air freight can be arranged in 5 to 7 days. We also offer a rush service for urgent projects — if you need your benches in 10 working days or fewer, just tell us up front and we will do our best to prioritize your order, subject to a small expediting fee.
To give you the most accurate lead time for your specific project, we recommend sending us your design sketches or referencing our catalog models. Once we receive your inquiry, our team will respond within 24 hours with a detailed production timeline and a step-by-step progress report. That way, you always know exactly when your outdoor benches will be ready to ship.
