If I order from your outdoor bench factory, can I choose the hardware color?

2026-08-22 Visits: Abstract: Yes, our outdoor bench factory allows you to choose the hardware color. From matte black to galvanized or bronze, every screw, bracket, and joint can match your project’s exact aesthetic without sacrificing durability.

When you order from our outdoor bench factory, you are not locked into a single default hardware finish. Yes, you can choose the hardware color—down to the screws, bolts, brackets, and mounting plates. We offer five standard finish families: matte black, stainless steel, galvanized silver, bronze, and white powder coat. Beyond those, we can match a custom RAL code or provide a physical color chip sample for small-batch production.

Why does hardware color matter on a bench? Because the contrast between the wood slats and the metal connectors defines the entire visual rhythm of the piece. A bright galvanized bracket on a cedar bench feels industrial and utilitarian. A matte black brace under a teak seat feels modern and understated. A bronze hinge can bring warmth to a park landscape, while a white frame disappears cleanly against a coastal deck. Our fabrication team treats hardware as a design element, not an afterthought.

Your choice also depends on environment. For coastal installations, we recommend 316 stainless steel or a heavy-duty powder coat over zinc-plated steel to resist salt corrosion. For high-traffic urban plazas, a textured black polyester powder coat hides scuffs better than glossy finishes. If you need anti-graffiti protection, we can add a clear sacrificial topcoat over the selected hardware color—this does not change the color but makes cleaning easier.

We also allow mixed hardware colors within one order. For example, if your bench design uses visible T-nuts on the armrests but hidden joinery underneath the seat, you can specify a bronze finish for the visible parts and a cheaper galvanized finish for the hidden fasteners. This keeps cost down while preserving the premium look where it matters. Our CNC machines and batch tracking system ensure that every bag of screws is labeled with your order number and finish code, so nothing gets mixed up on site.

Custom color matching takes about 3–5 business days before production. We send you a small metal swatch with your chosen color baked on, along with a torque test report. Once you approve the sample, we run your full batch. Minimum order for a custom RAL match is 20 benches. For standard finishes, there is no minimum color surcharge, and you can order as few as two benches.

So if you are planning a hotel courtyard, a campus seating wall, or a residential garden project, send us your project photos or a paint color from your architect’s palette. We will prepare a hardware finish guide with photorealistic renders showing how each metal tone looks on your bench profile. You can even request a virtual mock-up before placing the order. The answer is always yes—we want your bench to feel like it was made for your exact space, right down to the last bolt.
