No container is truly bear-proof if it is left unlocked, damaged, or improperly installed. That is why our campground bins focus on the real weak points: the lid, latch, hinge, body seams, and base. We use heavy-gauge steel, welded or reinforced seams, rounded corners, and recessed hardware that gives a bear little to grab, pry, or crush. The lid closes with a locking bar or self-latching system, and many models accept padlocks or keyed locks for campground staff.
