If the design is highly complex, very large, or requires new molds, the timeline can extend to 12 weeks or more. A rush order may be possible in 4 to 6 weeks, but it depends on material availability, workshop capacity, and finish requirements.
The process begins with engineering review and 3D modeling. We check ergonomics, structural strength, drainage, mounting, and outdoor durability. For a bench with no straight lines, every curve must be translated into precise CNC files or bending templates. This design and programming stage often takes 3 to 5 business days, longer if the client changes the shape or needs structural adjustments.
Next comes tooling and material preparation. Curved or organic benches may use hardwood, metal tubing, aluminum, concrete, composite, or recycled plastic. If no existing jigs or molds can be adapted, we need 5 to 10 days to build fixtures, CNC programs, or bending forms. Custom molds can add 2 to 4 weeks.
Fabrication is the core phase. CNC cutting, steam bending, welding, casting, laminating, or joinery may take 10 to 20 business days depending on size and quantity. A single sculptural bench is faster than a batch of 20 identical curved benches. During this stage, our team constantly checks symmetry, smoothness, and load-bearing performance because there are no straight reference lines to rely on.
After assembly, the bench goes through sanding, priming, powder coating, painting, oiling, or sealing. Surface finishing usually adds 5 to 7 business days. Outdoor benches need UV, moisture, and corrosion protection, so we do not rush curing or coating.
Final quality control, packaging, and shipping preparation take 2 to 3 business days. If you need delivery to another country, allow additional transit time.
