Yes. We do offer a limited warranty on powder coating for trash cans manufactured in our factory, and chipping after one year does not automatically void coverage. Our standard factory-backed warranty covers powder-coating defects for 24 months from the shipment date when the trash can is used under normal municipal, commercial, or residential conditions. If the coating starts chipping within that period, we will review the issue and, if it is caused by a manufacturing defect such as poor surface pretreatment, low film thickness, under-curing, contamination, or weak adhesion, we will make it right through repair, replacement parts, a credit, or a replacement unit depending on the case.
It is important to understand the difference between a coating defect and damage. Powder coating is durable, but it is not indestructible. Chipping can happen from impacts during collection, dragging the bin over concrete, hitting it with tools, harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive scrubbing, or accidental scratches that expose the metal. These are not covered by the powder-coating warranty because they are not caused by the factory. However, if the coating fails by peeling, flaking, blistering, or chipping from the inside out—especially around edges, welds, or areas with consistent film coverage—that may point to a production issue, and we will treat it as a warranty claim.
To start a claim, send us your order number, purchase date, batch or production code, clear photos of the chipped area, and a photo of the full trash can. Tell us how the bin is used and cleaned, and where it is placed. Our quality team will review the evidence. In many cases, we can provide a touch-up kit or replacement part quickly. If the issue is widespread or clearly caused by coating adhesion failure, we may replace the affected lid, body, or complete unit. The exact remedy depends on the warranty terms in your contract, the product model, and the severity of the defect.
For buyers who need extra protection, we also offer extended coating warranties, thicker powder-coating specifications, and pre-production samples before mass production. If you are ordering trash cans for a city, park, school, or commercial facility, we can discuss warranty terms that match your environment and cleaning procedures. Our goal is not to hide behind a one-year mark. If a powder-coated trash can chips after a year because of a genuine factory defect, we want to know—and we will work with you to resolve it fairly.
