Our outdoor bench factory’s return policy for color mismatches depends on whether the finished bench differs from the approved physical color standard or only from your digital rendering. Renderings are useful for visualizing shape, style, finish, and overall design, but screens, printers, and design software can shift color. For that reason, a rendering alone is not treated as the final color standard. The final standard is usually the approved powder-coat code, RAL or Pantone reference, physical finish sample, or signed color swatch.
If your bench arrives and the color does not match your rendering, contact our sales team within 7 days of delivery. Please provide your order number, the original rendering, clear photos of the bench in natural daylight, and any approved color sample or code. We will compare the actual finish against the approved standard. If the mismatch is caused by our production error, such as the wrong powder, an incorrect batch, or a finish that differs from the approved sample, we will correct it. Depending on the case, we may recoat or replace the bench, cover return freight, and issue a repair, replacement, credit, or refund. Verified factory color errors do not carry a restocking fee.
If the bench matches the approved physical sample or color code but looks different from your digital rendering, that is normally considered a rendering or display variance, not a manufacturing defect. In that situation, custom outdoor benches are not automatically returnable for a full refund. We can still offer solutions, such as a refinishing service at a quoted cost, a discounted replacement, or, for unused standard-color benches, an authorized return with a restocking fee and return shipping paid by you. Custom colors, engraved items, and made-to-order sizes are generally non-returnable unless defective.
To prevent color disputes, always request a physical finish sample before production, approve it in writing, and view it outdoors in sunlight and shade. If you need exact brand matching, provide a RAL, Pantone, or powder-coat code. Our goal is a fair return policy: we stand behind our production, but we cannot guarantee that a digital rendering will match a real powder-coated or stained outdoor bench exactly.
