For first-time customers, our outdoor bench factory normally uses a simple, secure payment structure that protects both the buyer and the factory. We understand that new buyers need confidence, so we do not ask for unusual or risky terms. Instead, we start with a clear sample-order policy: samples are usually paid 100% before production. This covers material preparation, customization, finishing, and courier costs. We accept T/T, PayPal, Western Union, or Alibaba Trade Assurance for sample orders, depending on the order value and destination.
For bulk outdoor bench orders, the standard term is 30% T/T deposit after the proforma invoice is confirmed, with the remaining 70% balance due before shipment or against a copy of the bill of lading. The deposit allows us to purchase raw materials, begin cutting, welding, powder coating, and assembling according to your specifications. The balance is required before we release the goods or original shipping documents, because outdoor benches are bulky and shipping costs are significant.
If your first order is very small, for example below USD 5,000, we may ask for 100% payment before production. For larger first orders, especially full-container orders, we can sometimes accept an irrevocable L/C at sight after reviewing your company details and order value. We may also discuss 40% deposit / 60% balance for special projects, but this is not automatic; it depends on product type, customization level, delivery schedule, and production risk.
We normally do not offer open account terms or D/P for first-time customers. However, once we have completed several orders together and built a reliable history, we can review more flexible terms. All payments are usually made in USD, EUR, or RMB, and bank charges should be covered by the sender unless otherwise agreed. Production starts only after the deposit clears in our account, and shipping documents are released after the balance arrives.
To make the process smooth, we provide a detailed proforma invoice, bank information, production schedule, and quality inspection updates. Our goal is not to make payment difficult, but to keep the first order transparent, predictable, and fair.
