Yes. Our planter box factory can produce a custom-length planter box to fit exactly between two columns. We do not rely on standard sizes. We build to your site’s real dimensions, not just the number on a drawing.
The key is precise measurement and tolerant design. Before production, we ask for the clear opening between the columns at the top, middle, and bottom. If the columns are not perfectly parallel or plumb, we design to the smallest dimension and add scribe trim, a flexible gasket, or an adjustable edge to close the remaining gap cleanly. This gives a tight, intentional fit without forcing the planter into place.
We can fabricate the planter in powder-coated aluminum, Corten steel, stainless steel, fiberglass, HDPE, or timber. The box can be floor-standing or wall-mounted, with hidden brackets, leveling feet, and a waterproof liner. Drainage holes, a reservoir, or drip irrigation can be integrated. Length is unlimited in modular sections, but for a single-piece planter, we will confirm transport and access limits.
To quote, send: opening dimensions at several points, photos of the columns and floor, column material, desired height and depth, finish, drainage needs, quantity, and installation date. We will provide a CAD drawing for approval, then cut, weld, finish, and pre-assemble. If needed, we can leave a small install gap and supply a matching trim piece for a seamless final look.
So, yes: custom length between columns is exactly the kind of work we do. Send your measurements, and we will make a planter that fits the first time.
