Our standard finish sample kit usually includes small wood panels, typically around 4 x 6 inches, made from the same species we use in production, such as teak, acacia, eucalyptus, robinia, and selected hardwoods. Each panel is finished with one of our available outdoor coatings: natural oil, teak oil, transparent sealer, light walnut stain, dark walnut stain, grey weathered finish, or custom color. Because we prepare samples on real production wood, you can clearly observe the grain direction, cathedral patterns, mineral streaks, knots, and natural color variation that may appear in the final bench.
For a more accurate preview, we can also send samples that match your chosen bench style and edge profile. If your project requires a specific grain look such as straight grain, interlocked grain, quarter-sawn grain, or a more rustic appearance, tell us. We will select sample panels that represent that character as closely as possible. Please note that wood is a natural material, so no two boards are identical. The sample is a reference for species, finish, and general grain appearance, not a guarantee of an exact match.
To request finish samples, simply send us your shipping address, the wood species and finishes you want to compare, and any project details such as quantity, intended use, and target delivery date. For serious buyers and bulk orders, we can credit the sample cost toward your first order or provide custom finish samples at no extra charge. Samples are usually dispatched within 3 to 7 business days, depending on the finish and destination. We can also send high-resolution photos or a short video of the grain pattern under natural light if you need a faster preview.
