At our outdoor bench factory, every bench is covered by a tiered limited warranty. The exact terms depend on the bench model, material, finish, and whether it is for residential or commercial use. We put the final warranty in writing on every quotation and order confirmation, so you know what is protected before production begins.
Residential outdoor benches:
- Structural frame: 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, including broken welds, joint failure, and structural bending under normal use.
- Finish: 3-year limited warranty against peeling, blistering, or cracking under normal weather and maintenance.
- Hardware, glides, and cushions: 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.
Commercial and public-use outdoor benches:
- Structural frame: 3-year limited warranty.
- Finish: 2-year limited warranty.
- Hardware, glides, and cushions: 1-year limited warranty.
For high-traffic parks, campuses, transit stops, and municipalities, we can discuss extended coverage or project-specific warranty terms.
What the warranty covers:
The warranty covers defects that come from our manufacturing process. Examples include poor welds, defective castings, faulty assembly points, premature finish failure, and hardware that does not function as intended. If a covered defect appears, we will, at our option, repair or replace the affected part or the full bench. In many cases, we ship replacement components directly from our factory.
What the warranty does not cover:
It does not cover normal wear and tear, fading from sun exposure, scratches, scuffs, dents, rust caused by scratches or lack of care, misuse, vandalism, fire, flood, extreme weather, improper installation, chemical exposure, or unauthorized repairs or modifications. It also does not cover labor, removal, installation, or shipping costs unless required by local law or agreed in writing.
How to make a warranty claim:
Contact our after-sales team with your order number or invoice, photos of the issue, a short description, and the installation date. We will review the claim and may ask for additional details. Approved claims are handled through repair, replacement parts, or replacement at our discretion. The warranty starts on the delivery date and applies to the original purchaser. It is not transferable unless we approve it in writing.
Custom benches:
Custom sizes, colors, and materials are welcome. Because custom projects can use specialized finishes or components, we confirm the warranty in the quotation. Most custom benches keep the same structural and finish coverage as standard models when they use the same materials and processes.
