Yes—you can request samples from our planter box factory before placing a large order, and we recommend it. A sample lets you inspect materials, dimensions, finish, drainage, assembly, and packaging before you commit to bulk production.
We offer two sample paths. Stock samples are available for common planter box styles, such as rectangular wooden planters, raised garden beds, and decorative balcony boxes. These can usually ship within 3–7 business days after your request is confirmed. Custom samples are made to your specifications, including size, wood species or composite material, color, logo, liner, drainage holes, and hardware. Custom sample lead time is typically 7–15 business days after drawings or reference photos are approved, plus shipping time.
Sample shipping is usually by express courier such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, or another tracked service. We can ship to your home, office, or warehouse. Shipping cost depends on the destination country, sample weight, box dimensions, and delivery speed. If you need the sample urgently, we can quote air express. If budget is tight, we can also send detailed photos or a video walkthrough of the exact sample before shipping.
Most factories charge a sample fee because each sample requires materials, labor, finishing, and packing. However, the sample fee is often refundable or deductible from your bulk order payment once the order is placed, subject to the agreed terms. We will confirm all costs clearly before you pay, so there are no surprises.
To get a sample shipped, please send us: your delivery address and phone number; the planter box style you are considering; dimensions, material, color, and finish; any logo or packaging requirements; and your target bulk order quantity. If you have a drawing, photo, or 3D file, include it. Our team will review your request and send a sample quotation with lead time and shipping options.
A sample is especially important for large orders because it confirms the actual look and feel, not just a catalog image. You can check whether the joints are tight, the surface is smooth, the drainage works, and the color matches your market. Once you approve the sample, we can use it as the quality reference for mass production.
So yes, samples can be shipped before a large order. Send your sample request today, and we will help you evaluate the product with a real planter box in your hands—or on your screen—before you scale up.
