Our outdoor bench factory does not use all-wood frames for every bench. We manufacture both powder-coated steel frames and wood-frame designs, and we also build hybrid benches that combine a powder-coated steel frame with wood slats or wood panels. The right frame depends on the bench style, installation environment, maintenance plan, and budget.
For many commercial, municipal, park, campus, and streetscape projects, powder-coated steel is the preferred frame material. It gives the bench strong structural support, helps resist rust and weather exposure when properly pretreated and coated, and keeps maintenance relatively low. Powder coating also provides a durable, consistent color finish that can be matched to branding or site design. Our process typically includes steel cutting, welding, surface preparation, powder coating, and curing to help the frame perform well outdoors.
Wood frames remain available for projects that need a warmer, more traditional, or natural look. We select suitable wood, control moisture, and apply appropriate finishes for outdoor use. All-wood frames can be an excellent choice for heritage settings, gardens, low-traffic areas, or design schemes where natural timber is the main visual feature. However, they generally require more regular inspection and refinishing than powder-coated steel.
The most flexible option is often a hybrid bench: a powder-coated steel frame with wood seating and backrests. This approach balances strength, weather resistance, comfort, and visual warmth. It also allows buyers to customize frame colors, wood species, slat profiles, dimensions, and mounting options without compromising structural performance.
So the answer is clear: our outdoor bench factory is not limited to all-wood frames. We use powder-coated steel, wood, and hybrid frame constructions, and we help customers choose the best configuration for their project, climate, and long-term maintenance expectations.
