For plastic trash can models designed for windy areas, our factory offers a limited manufacturer’s warranty rather than an unconditional replacement guarantee. The standard coverage is three years for commercial wind-rated plastic bins and two years for residential models, beginning from the shipment date or the date shown on the original purchase invoice. This warranty is intended to protect buyers against qualifying manufacturing defects, not against every form of storm-related damage.
The warranty covers structural and functional defects that result from factory materials or workmanship. For windy-area plastic models, this includes cracking or splitting of the plastic body under normal use, failure of reinforced lid hinges or locking components caused by production defects, and loss of wind-stability performance that can be traced to faulty assembly or substandard factory components. It also covers UV-stabilized plastic bodies if premature material breakdown occurs under normal outdoor exposure and the product has been used according to our installation and anchoring instructions.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by hurricanes, tornadoes, severe storms, improper anchoring, overloading, vandalism, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear. Cosmetic changes such as minor fading, scuffs, or dirt accumulation are also excluded unless they indicate a covered material defect. Because windy-area bins depend on correct placement and secure anchoring, buyers must follow the recommended installation guidance for the warranty to remain valid.
To file a claim, customers should provide the original purchase record, product batch code, clear photos or video of the issue, and a short description of the installation conditions. Our quality team reviews each claim and may request an on-site inspection or return sample for larger commercial orders. Approved claims are resolved through repair, replacement of the defective part, or replacement of the unit, at our discretion. The limited warranty is non-transferable unless a separate written agreement is issued for a commercial project.
