Thank you for choosing our outdoor bench factory. The easiest way to protect your cushions is to clean them before deep dirt settles in. Begin by checking the label sewn onto the cushion, because it gives the final word on washing and drying limits.
For weekly care, brush off leaves and dust, then vacuum both sides with a soft upholstery brush. Wipe the fabric with a clean cloth wrung out in warm water and a small amount of mild dish soap. Do not saturate the foam filling. For food, drink, or bird droppings, blot the area gently with a damp cloth; rubbing can push the stain deeper. Repeat with a fresh cloth until the mark lifts.
If your cushion cover is removable and the label permits machine washing, use a cold, gentle cycle with mild detergent and close any zippers. Air dry the cover flat in the shade. Avoid bleach, strong solvents, and high-heat dryers, as they may fade colors, shrink fabric, or damage seams. Non-removable cushions should be spot cleaned only.
For mildew or persistent odors, mix one part white vinegar with three parts water, test a hidden spot, apply lightly, and rinse thoroughly. Dry the cushion completely on both sides before returning it to the bench. Rotate and flip cushions often, and store them under a breathable cover during heavy rain or off-season months. If you are unsure which method fits your fabric, contact our factory team with your order number and a photo, and we will guide you.
