Yes—at our planter box factory, drainage holes are a standard feature, not a special request. Most outdoor planter boxes leave our production line with pre-drilled holes already in the base. The default pattern is evenly spaced, with hole size matched to the planter’s dimensions, material, and expected soil volume. In most cases, you do not need to request drainage because it is included in the standard build.
That said, standard does not mean fixed. If you need larger holes, extra holes, reinforced grommets, or a different placement, we can adjust the design before production. Some buyers prefer a watertight planter for indoor displays or a removable liner. For those orders, we can produce the box without drainage holes or supply rubber plugs so the planter can switch between sealed and draining use. For wholesale and OEM projects, confirm drainage details on the drawing and sample approval to keep each batch consistent.
So the direct answer is: drainage holes are standard on our planter boxes, but customization—or no drainage at all—is available when requested. Tell us whether the planter will sit on a patio, balcony, windowsill, or indoor floor, and we will recommend the right hole count, diameter, and spacing. We can also add drainage trays, mesh screens, or raised feet for better airflow. The goal is to ship planter boxes that arrive ready to plant, with drainage handled before they leave the factory.
