A typical self-watering planter from our factory includes a sealed water reservoir below the growing area, a wicking layer or wicking rope that moves moisture upward into the soil, a fill tube for easy refilling, and an overflow drain to prevent waterlogging. We can also add a floating water-level gauge so users can see when it is time to refill. For larger planter boxes, we can design multiple reservoirs, partition walls, aeration feet, and reinforced bases to keep performance stable.

We offer several formats: drop-in self-watering inserts for existing planter boxes, custom-molded reservoir bases, and complete self-watering planter boxes ready for retail or project use. Materials may include UV-resistant HDPE, recycled plastic, composite wood, or powder-coated metal, based on your durability and climate requirements.
