When you order from our outdoor bench factory, the answer depends on your model, quantity, and delivery method. For most standard export orders, knocked-down benches are the default, so you will need to complete the final assembly on site. The benches are not usually fully pre-assembled. Instead, they are packed as semi-assembled or flat-pack components: seat sections, backrests, legs, frames, armrests, hardware kits, and instructions. This approach lowers freight costs, improves container use, reduces the risk of shipping damage, and makes handling easier for your receiving team. You or your installer will normally attach the remaining parts with basic hand tools. Many designs take about 15 to 45 minutes per bench to assemble, depending on size and anchoring requirements. Some models arrive with the main frame already welded and only need legs, brackets, or armrests fitted. Fully pre-assembled benches are available, but they are generally best for local deliveries, small orders, or projects where shipping space is not a concern. Assembled benches take up much more room in a truck or container, so they can increase freight costs and may need special unloading equipment. For international shipments, we may offer fully assembled delivery only for selected compact models or when your freight quote supports it. If you need on-site assembly, mention it before we prepare your quotation. We can pre-drill holes, label parts clearly, include matching hardware, provide PDF or video instructions, and in some regions arrange installation support through local partners. Assembly service is not automatic, so it must be confirmed in the order.
